Granola
This is a granola recipe. It's pretty good, not too sweet, not too oily. If you are seeking clumps, look elsewhere.
Ingredients
Dry
- 3 lbs rolled oats
- 2 cups shredded coconut (large-ish flakes are best)
- 2 cup pumpkin seed
- 2 cups sunflower seed
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1+ tbs cinnamon
Wet
- 1 cup sunflower or other oil
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1 tbs vanilla
Post-Bake
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup cranberries
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325
- Whisk together wet ingredients
- Mix together dry ingredients
- Mix wet and dry together. Coat as much of the dry with the wet as possible
- Bake for 30 min.
- Remove from oven, mix, and then return to oven with tray locations swapped.
- Stir every 15 min to avoid burning.
- Remove and let cool after about an hour (after it is crunchy and golden brown)
- Let cool, then add dried fruit
